TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (FTN) – Is a local two-year-old hitting on himself or does he think he is saying hi to a different baby in the phone?
The questions some local parents have after Alexander Essex repeatedly says “hey baby” every time he sees himself.
“It happens during selfies, looking at photos of himself. Anything,” Alex’s father Chris said.
His parents say the tone almost comes off like he is hitting on himself, thinking he is cute.
“It’s not like “hey or hello baby…it’s more like Heyyy baby,” Ami Essex said with a wink.
Neither parent is too concerned about the botched baby language, but they say they will keep an eye on it.
